Biodiversity in the palm of your hand

Welcome to eDNAture

eDNAture is a deep-tech, science-based startup, working on eDNA technology with wide applications in nature protection, agriculture, the food industry, veterinary science, and medicine.

What is environmental DNA?

Environmental DNA (eDNA) is non-invasive, cost-effective, more efficient technology/method for detecting and tracking of the presence of organisms in different environment - be it soil, water, or air.

This technology eliminates the need for direct observation. By collecting environmental samples such as soil, we analyze their DNA to identify the organism present, offering a comprehensive understanding of the biodiversity in the area.

How it works?

1. Sample

The samples are collected by our team of experts in the field and then transported to the lab.

Future process:

A comprehensive sampling kit is delivered to your address. Collect the environmental samples and return them to us, or we can do the sampling for you if needed.

2. Lab analysis

Our laboratory experts process the samples.

3. Reporting

Comprehensive report with results and interpretation is delivered to you by email. Our experts are available for involvement in a discussion regarding the results and the next steps to take.

Future process:

The results, along with the professional interpretation are delivered online through our secured app.

4. Biobank

Sample is stored in our biobank for reference and future re-analysis and comparisons.

Our idea is to turn scientific knowledge and techniques into a tool that is open to the public and usable by anyone. Introducing our solution for rapid species / pathogen detection across multiple fields.
Our accessible and modern tool, which includes a sampling kit that can be used by anyone, empowers everyone to protect and enhance the quality of life and our surroundings.
